At the Portcullis Group, we believe in cultivating a giving and inclusive corporate culture through our many philanthropic efforts. We believe that strength of character, community and empathy are essential ingredients to creating an enduring organisation. We believe in working hard and playing hard, and the importance of giving back to the less fortunate.
We support staff welfare, various charities and not-for-profit organizations. Our staff volunteer at the Red Cross Society where our Chairman, Tan Sri Tee Tua-Ba, served as the former Chairman of the Singapore Red Cross Society.
Over the past 10 years, we have made regular visits to our friends at the Red Cross Home for the Disabled, where we help the caregivers with meals and arranging fun activities for the residents. Each year, we hold annual parties to celebrate together with the residents and perform shows put on by our staff. Additionally, we have organised fundraising carnival fares complete with food stations, activity booths and shops. Recently, we held a gala dinner at the senior police officer’s mess to raise funds for special mobility equipment for the residents.
In recognition of Portcullis’ invaluable contributions amid the challenging Covid-19 period, we were also presented with the Distinguished Friend of SRC Award in 2021.
